Final Round Finale!

Final Round Finale!

Adelaide City FC will head into the final round of the 2017 PS4 National Premier League this weekend sitting top of the table – in both the men’s and women’s leagues!

Positioned three points clear, the men will want a win on Saturday against old foes West Adelaide to ensure outright victory on points for a defining Premiership title! It would however seem unlikely second place Metro Stars will be able to make up the 15 goal deficit if the decision does go down to goal difference should City not win or draw.

Friday night’s final round for the women will pit them against equal second placed Metro United, just two points behind. A tenacious City will play with skill and determination and no doubt fight to the end with success their only focus. This is a not to be missed contest and a fitting climax to the end of the regular season.

Saturday’s clash at Adelaide City Park will not only see a great football contest against old NSL compatriots and willing combatants West Adelaide, but it will also see the presentation of our two 1st Grade National Premier League teams. In recognition of the effort and commitment demonstrated tirelessly week in and week out by our two 1st grade teams, coaches and staff, this last home game of the regular season will provide an opportunity to applaud and thank the squads. The women will be presented on the field prior to the men’s match, and the men will take centre stage post-match.

From there, both teams will commence in the FFSA PS4 NPL Final Series, providing a new challenge for the teams to thrust themselves into from the following weekend – it will be like a new season as all clubs qualifying will have the opportunity to battle it out for Grand Final glory. Our men also stand well positioned to qualify for the PS4 NPL National Finals Series where the eight winners of each state’s NPL Premierships as determined by the end of regular season table, will compete in a knockout format.

Two great games of football await for fans of the round ball in South Australia with Adelaide City FC positioned with the chance to take top spot in both Leagues, a must see for City and football fans.
