Adelaide City FC junior players and children wearing the club’s black and white playing strip will be given the opportunity to join the senior team on the field at South Australia’s premier football venue Coopers Stadium in the lead up to Grand Final kick off this Saturday.
The innovative initiative of Football Federation SA will provide children the unique chance to experience the real atmosphere of the big match from the middle of the 16,000 seat stadium.
It will also bring together senior and junior players for one of the biggest football occasions in the state, and showcase the junior contingent of football in South Australia.
Adelaide City FC will be represented in both the men’s and women’s Grand Finals, with juniors able to take the field at the start of either, or both, competition deciding fixtures.
Each child participating, will also be provided with one full price pass at no charge for his or her accompanying adult.
Adelaide City junior players will be met at a designated gathering point before being guided onto the field by FFSA officials to experience this rare and exciting opportunity.
