Defender Tomas Maricic has joined Adelaide City for the 2019 National Premier League season.
Maricic has recently retuned back to Australia after gaining some exceptional experience overseas, in Cyprus playing for a range of clubs including PAOK FC and Anagennisi.
“Things went really well over in Cyprus and it was a great experience to leave home and play professionally, which was something I always dreamt of doing.
“Before I left, I played for Adelaide Olympic and been around the league throughout my junior years.
“I like to let my football do the talking, I don’t like to say too much but it comes out when it matters most, on game day.
Head Coach, Michael Matricciani was a big factor in Maricic joining Adelaide City and believes that the club can continue to win prestigious silverware.
“A big part of me joining Adelaide City was due to the fact that Michael Matricciani is coach and I have played with him and under him, and I knew I would get quality coaching and keeping a level of professionalism under Michael.
“It is a big club used to winning silverware so my goal is to continue that.
“I’m looking forward to playing for Adelaide City and I’m ready to play.”
