Exciting attacking midfielder Paul Radice has signed for Adelaide City for the 2019 NPL SA season.
Radice spent a large portion of his junior years at City before beginning his senior career at Adelaide Blue Eagles. He was then brought back to the club in 2011 where he spent a further three years before departing in 2014. Following his departure, he played with West Torrens Birkalla for two years before spending the last two seasons with Croydon, helping the Kings on the way to a Grand Final win.
But now he returns to the club where he has celebrated success in the past with two cup wins and is eager to play his part in bringing trophies back to Oakden.
“It would be a great feeling to win the championship with the team that I spent the majority of my youth career with,” Radice stated.
“Winning the championship at Croydon was good, but to win a title here at City would be an even better feeling.”
Radice also insisted that the potential to reunite with former teammates was one of the biggest reasons why he decided to rejoin the club after four years.
“I am excited to be playing alongside a group of boys I get along with.”
“Having a close playing group along with a coach you respect are two of the most important things in football to me and I can’t wait to rejoin the club.”
Stay tuned for a feature ACTV interview with Paul in the coming weeks as well as more news on both NPL and WNPL squads for 2019!
