Adelaide City vs Campbelltown City
Venue: Adelaide City Park
Date: 26/05/2018 03:00 PM
Adelaide City and Campbelltown City will be involved in round 13’s match of the round this weekend. The two will meet for the second time this season, with a Marc Marino penalty only separating the two back in round 2. City currently trail Campbelltown by a point, as Damien Mori’s side sit 3rd on the NPL ladder. They were able to walk away with three points last week when they beat South Adelaide 2-0 at O’Sullivans Beach. Mamadi Kamara opened the scoring in the 16th minute to put City in front. Harley Gepp doubled the score in the 52nd minute and sealed the win for Mori and his side. City will be looking to get the upper hand in this round, after they lost the first of the two fixtures.
Campbelltown City will be looking to win their sixth game in seven matches, as they hope to close the gap on league leaders MetroStars. Joe Mullen’s side beat Metro for the second time this season last week, beating Robbie Saraceno’s side 2-1. Goals from Alex Mullen and Dion Kirk early in the first half was enough for the Red Devils to walk away with all three points. Campbelltown are now two points behind top, but if they lose this week, Adelaide City will have the opportunity to jump into 2nd.
The match will kick off at 3pm down at Adelaide City park.
