Adelaide City Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Vincenzo Libri to the position of team psychologist. In keeping with the club’s ongoing commitment to development, this latest appointment adds further expertise and support for players and teams.
Vincenzo is an organisational psychologist specialising in performance management for individuals, groups and organisations through concepts of resilience, change and innovation. He has a strong research background, is a published author and a keynote speaker.
Football Chairman Alf Ianniello welcomed the appointment; “Adelaide City FC is committed to being a leading football club on and off the field. With that in mind, I would like to introduce Vincenzo Libri as the Adelaide City FC team psychologist. We are pleased to have Vincenzo Libri at Adelaide City FC and look forward to him working with our players, coaches and volunteers through presentations, workshops and one-on-one sessions. As we progress through the season we will endeavour to have Vincenzo conduct sessions around resilience and performance, particularly with our younger squads. We thank Vincenzo for his contribution and look forward to his role unfolding.”
Vincenzo was equally enthusiastic about his role commencing at the the club; “Adelaide City FC has a long and proud tradition of success, it always strives for improvement. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to it’s continued progress and assist players, teams and personnel at the club in this journey.”
