Adelaide City FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Enzo Perry to the position of Junior Boys Football Manager.
Perry has been a long standing Coach and Technical Director at the club. He has also coached Kanga Cup teams and overseen aspects of player development on an ongoing basis. His knowledge, skills and enthusiasm will continue to benefit the club in his new role, which he will add to his existing position of Technical Director in 2017.
“I am very passionate about the game, the process of developing player skills, bonding a strong and united team, and exceptional work ethic during trainings and game day”, said Perry.
“The objectives for all teams will be focused on building confidence, self-esteem, discipline and a sense of commitment and pride in their team, in the club and in themselves. These personality traits and qualities will benefit youth footballers at whatever level they play. We will emphasise development and a winning mentality – the primary focus is on development” he added.
Perry intends to support the commitment required from all players, coaches, technical directors, administration and parents for the season which is significant.
“Adelaide City FC aims to ensure long term player development, so that players are building skills that are appropriate for their age and individual skill level, creating a strong foundation of physical literacy in an environment that keeps players interested and motivated” concluded Perry.
Adelaide City FC would like to express its sincere and deep gratitude to outgoing Junior Boys Football Manager Robert Del Checcolo. For many years Rob has given much of his time and energy to the role, and the Adelaide City community. Rob will move to take up the position of u18 Team Manager at the club.
