Adriano Pellegrino has signed a playing contract with Adelaide City for the rest of the 2019 National Premier League SA season.
Pellegrino is already a key figure at City, joining the club at the conclusion of 2018 as senior Technical Director .
But now Pellegrino pulls on the Black and White shirt on for the first time since 2007 and the former A-League star couldn’t be more excited.
“My childhood and my professional career in the National Soccer League started here and I couldn’t be happier to be wearing this jersey again.
“I hope to contribute quite a lot on and off the pitch – I am a versatile player and can give Michael (Matricciani) many options on the park.”
Pellegrino brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in his return to the club, winning Perth Glory’s “Most Glorious Player” award in 2009 before helping the Central Coast Mariners win their maiden A-League championship in 2013.
