Adelaide City FC Easter School Holiday Clinics concluded on Friday of last week, hailed successful by all. With a total of nearly 40 young players attending, the coaching provided another step forward in their development.
“We were very pleased with the enrollment levels for our first School Holiday Clinic, but even more impressed by the commitment and effort by the players” noted head coach of the clinics Adelaide City legend, and former NSL Player of the Year, Serge Melta. “Their approach helped make it a positive learning environment, and enjoyable for all. We had a range of ages and skill levels attending, with all players being able to benefit and grow as young footballers” he added.
The clinics were held during the first and second weeks of the school holidays, running from 9:00am – 3:00pm on each of the 3 days. Guest speakers from Adelaide City mens and womens National Premier League teams added to the course content, as well as presentation from ex Socceroo, and former Adelaide City FC player, Travis Dodd.
Thankyou to Serge Melta and all the coaches, Sarina Bria, and Marcelina and Simply Fresh for catering assistance. The 2017 Adelaide City FC Easter School Holiday Clinics were supported by Veolia, NAB and Gatorade.
The next Adelaide City FC School Holiday Clinics will be held in July.
