Senior Men’s Staff Announced

With the NPLSA Season just around the corner the Club wants to introduce and welcome the new Senior Men’s Coaching Staff to Adelaide City. This experienced and passionate group of footballing men will be working under Head Coach Michael Matricciani across Season 2019.


Oliver Totani is a former junior product of Adelaide City and joins the club as an Assistant Coach. He is a 14 year veteran at the top level of South Australian football with stints at Campbelltown City, Adelaide Blue Eagles, Adelaide Olympic and Adelaide Cobras. He holds a very strong football knowledge and has represented Australia at Under 17 level.


Geoff Hargreaves, 48, joins Adelaide City as their First Team Assistant Coach. Hargreaves was a City member during their time at the National Soccer League and has spent time at Adelaide Raiders as Technical Director and as Head Coach of FFSA NTC Girls.


Joe Verringer is a Goalkeeper Coach and continues with Adelaide City for the 2019 season. Verringer has a very strong football background and was previously Adelaide United’s W-League Goalkeeper Coach in 2011 and 2012. He also holds an FFA Level 1 Goalkeeping Licence.


Peter Romeo joins the club as a Fitness Coach. Romeo was a former Campbelltown City player and is the current coach of their Under 12 JPL squad. He also currently has national coaching accreditation, holding an FFA C Licence.


Victor Thach has joined Adelaide City for their upcoming 2019 NPL Season as the club’s Strength and Conditioning Coach. Thach is a representative of Pernix, a large Australian based company specialising in data analytics. He was also the Strength and Conditioning Coach of the FFSA NTC girls and holds the same role at the Norwood Football Club.


Fabian Garuccio joins Adelaide City as the Team Manager of their senior men’s squad for the 2019 NPL SA season. Fabian, 23, returns to the club after spending a large portion of his playing days at City as a goalkeeper.


Kevin Doan joins the club as a Physiotherapist. He is a Bachelor of Physiotherapy graduate and has received his Master of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports) degree. Doan has previously worked at the Australian College of Sport in their football stream and has spent time in the SANFL with North Adelaide.
